Ethiopian Airlines, the leading airline in Africa, flies to five new destinations in Athens, Greece, Chennai, India, Dammam, Saudi Arabia, Jakarta, Indonesia, and Bahrain. In its 75-year history, Ethiopian Ailine has become one of the continent’s leading carriers in terms of performance, efficiency, and operational success.
These new routes were added to the 127 international destinations served by the airline on July 1, 2022. as reported by Sun news The airline just erected a five-star terminal hotel within the Bole airport at the same time as this. Travelers who need to freshen up before a flight or those with shorter layovers can take advantage of the hotel’s 24-hour large, pet-friendly rooms and suites with luxurious bedding and flat-screen TVs, according to Shimeles Arage, Ethiopian Airlines General Manager for Nigeria. The hotel is housed inside the airport terminal building, and according to government laws, only a one-night stay is allowed. However, once guests check-inn at the hotel, they are unable to leave the property.
The majority of the pan-African passenger and freight network is controlled by Ethiopia, which operates the newest and most advanced flights to 130 international passenger and cargo destinations on five continents. Ethiopia’s fleet, which has an average fleet age of seven years, includes ultra-modern and ecologically friendly aircraft such the Airbus A350, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 777-200LR, Boeing 777-200 Freighter, and Bombardier Q-400 double cabin. The first airline in Africa to own and fly these aircraft is Ethiopian Airlines.
