The Manufacturers of School Equipment and Distribution, Berhanena Selam Printing Enterprise, Ethiopian Pulp and Paper S.C (የኢትዮጵያ ፐልና ወረቀት አክሲዮን ማኅበር), National Alcohol and Liquor Factory and National Animal Health Institute have reviewed the performance of the mid-2014 budget year. As a result, the five enterprises had planned to sell a total of Birr 1.5 billion, earning Birr 1.2 billion and achieving 81.8% of their target.

The enterprises has planned to gain Birr 388.4 million in pre-tax profit and achieved Birr 403.8 million (103.9 percent of its target). Overall, the National Alcohol and Liquor Factory has the largest share of Birr 138.8 million (34.5%) out of the 403.8 million birr profit earned from these enterprises.

Berhanena Selam Printing Enterprise came in second with a net worth of Birr 107.47 million (20.74%). The Ethiopian Pul and Paper Stock Company lost Birr 394,000, while the company, which recently joined the administration, gained a profit of Birr 83.75. The enterprises have availed their products to the international market, and we’re able to make $600,000, which is 106% of the plan.
