The application was unveiled in the presence of the Minister of Innovation and Technology, Belete Molla (PhD), Director General of Information Network Security Administration, Shumete Gizaw (PhD), and the general manager of zTruck Transportation, a private limited company.
The app is fully developed by Ethiopians and can be used to streamline freight transport by downloading it to your phone and computer. It operates in different languages. With the hotline 9797, it is the latest tech company to connect freight service providers with customers.
Minister of Innovation and Technology Belete Molla (PhD) said applications such as zTruck will play an important role in the complete implementation of e-commerce in Ethiopia. He also said that if the problems in the transport and logistics value chain can be solved through operation, efficient manpower, organization and technology, Ethiopia can be made a logistics hub for Africa.
