The United Nations Association of Ethiopia, in partnership with CRISP and the German Embassy, announced the opportunity for young, highly motivated individuals between the ages of 18 and 32 to apply for the UN Youth Delegates program.

This project aims to support, guide and dispatch a new generation of UN Youth Delegates from Sudan, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, and South Sudan.

The goal is to also build up UN Associations in all participating countries and provide participants with the chance to become UN Youth Fellows and engage with the work of the United Nations on the ground.

Eligible applicants must have a sufficient command of the English language and be available to travel and attend workshops throughout 2023. Specific dates will be indicated in the application form.

The program offers a unique opportunity to become a part of a national UN Fellowship with opportunities for UN internships, the ability to formulate a mandate that represents the demands of the youth, outreach activities and the possibility of joining a UN Association. Additionally, two fellows will be selected as youth delegates to represent the youth interests of their country at the UN General Assembly in New York.
