The Ethiopian Ministry of Labor and Skills has initiated extensive analyses of the economic losses caused by the violence in the country’s north, with the severity of the losses to be revealed as soon as the studies are completed but the extent of the damage remains unknown. As a result, the Ministry created and dispatched a team to investigate the situation, according to Capital Newspaper.
Businesses would receive various supports to help them rebuild their operations depending on the assessment. The Ministry is collaborating with the government, private sector, development partners, and young people to guarantee that by 2030, all young people are in education, training, or employment.
