The bank accounts of tour operators have been suspended as the time for paying tax has ended and they were not able to pay their taxes for last year.
In a letter to the Bank of Abyssinia on September 25, 2021, the Addis Ababa Medium Taxpayers’ Office froze the accounts and assets of 32 tour operators. The companies also have not been able to renew their business licenses and are closing some documents.
