BOA launched a voice-assisted ATMs that enable visually impaired people to access a variety of banking services. It works with a headset connected to the ATM that will guide customers through a voice-assisted manner to deliver the required service, and it requires no further assistance. The service includes cash withdrawal, money transfer, change passwords, print statements, and send money to Tele Birr. It is available in Amharic, English, Afaan Oromo and Tigrinya languages.

It allows users to access equally complete services in the language of their choice. Anyone with an Abyssinian bank card, other bank cards and international cards, such as a master card, visa card and China Union Pay card, can access the service.
