Black cumin and fenugreek, which are new to ECX’s trading platform, have been sold at a high price. One kilogram of black cumin was sold for 265 birr and one kilogram of fenugreek was sold for 125 birr.
Black cumin, fenugreek, Coriander, Pepper and Guaya (ጓያ) have recently been incorporated into the modern trading system and farmers and suppliers are supplying their products to the branches of ECX.
