Alula Melaku, mobile money upgrade Project Manager at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) said, customers can now easily transfer from Bank Account to Mobile Money and Mobile Money to Bank Account. The new feature enables customers to buy goods, bill payment and receive money from Abroad through CBE BIRR.
Dial *847# and follow Steps to Transfer Mobile Money to Bank Account and vice versa.
CBE Birr (Wallet Account) account is a type of pre-paid account in which a user can store his/her money for any future transaction.

Dial *847# Then
Select 1. Send Money
Select 2. Send to CBE Bank Account
Enter the Account number
Verify Account Holder Name
Enter Amount
Verify and Complete.
