The Ethiopia-Djibouti One Stop Border Post will be funded with 3.2 million Euros from the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA).

In Lusaka, Zambia, COMESA Secretary General Chileshe Kapwepwe and State Minister of Trade and Regional Integration Ministry Kasahun Gofe discussed a number of issues that were important to both parties.

Chileshe Kapwepwe stated that COMESA and the two countries had agreed to fund the Ethiopia-Djibouti One Stop Border Post. Chileshe Kapwepwe stated that COMESA will continue the budget based on further project evaluations.

COMESA also intends to fund the construction of a cutting-edge market in Moyale, near the border between Ethiopia and Kenya.
