The ongoing conflict in Ethiopia, according to Djibouti’s finance minister, has cut Djibouti’s trade by 20% and lost the country roughly half of its GDP, $1.7 billion.

This is owing to the fact that Djibouti’s port handles over 90% of Ethiopia’s goods.
