The Development Bank of Ethiopia has announced the start of its annual training program for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the country. The program is set to begin on February 21, 2023, and will run for a period of five days until February 25, 2023.
In collaboration with its partners, including the World Bank, the Development Bank of Ethiopia will provide training to over 112,000 SME operators in 57 cities and 95 training centers across the country. This year’s training marks the fourth round of the program and is part of the bank’s efforts to boost the capacity of SMEs in the country.
The training program will focus on a range of topics, including financial management, market analysis, product development, and supply chain management. The bank aims to equip SME operators with the necessary skills and knowledge to improve their operations, increase their productivity, and enhance their competitiveness in the market.
