The Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX) said it traded 4.4-billion-birr worth of agricultural products in the first quarter
The total traded 51,640 metric tons of agricultural products in the Q1 of 2014 EFY includes:
- Coffee: 17,690 tons
- Sesame: 15,445 tons
- White beans: 3,024 tons
- Soybeans: 4,731 tons
- Green Sorghum: 3,368 tons
- Bean sprouts: 1,904 tons
- Red beans: 215 tons
- Pigeons: 5 tons
It is recalled that Black cumin, dill, apricot, and black paper join the modern market system of ECX.
