The Insurance Fund Administration Service Consulted Stakeholders to Enhance Emergency Medical Care up-to Birr 40,000
The Insurance Fund Administration Service (IFAS) has discussed about the implementation of a new arrangement that will require health institutions to treat persons injured in road accidents for up to Birr 40,000. The currently provided emergency treatment is up to Birr 2,000.
The fund compensates victims of uninsured drivers accidents or injuries caused by hit-and-run.
