eHealth, a software designed to digitize the process of information-gathering in Ethiopian healthcare facilities, was released today, March 1, 2022.
It is stated that it can connect medical centers to patient data and diagnoses. The technology is anticipated to help Ethiopia’s health system overcome the issues it is now facing due to a lack of digital assistance. The service is now available in three languages: Amharic, Oromiffa, and English, with plans to expand to other local languages in the future.
The software that promises to make healthcare services paperless, has been released in an event held today at Hilton hotel.
According to eTech, the service provider, eHealth aims to connect Ethiopian health facilities by digitally organizing patient information.
Patients will be able le to regain access to their old medical records, according to reports. Patients can also use it to make treatment appointments, keep track of their health by messaging their doctor, understand which medications are prescribed, find the pharmacy they need, and get tests as well as rating findings.
Ethiopian diasporas founded eTech, a software development company.
