ethio Telecom has signed a memorandum of understanding to supply advanced modular data center services for Amhara Bank.
The modular data center, according to ethio telecom, is meant to protect mission-critical data and is equipped with extensive security and compliance system controls, as well as 99 percent stable connectivity and high electric power saving capacity.
Amhara Bank will employ this new high-capacity world-standard data center to modernize its information technology system, according to an agreement signed between ethio Telecom and Amhara Bank.
Currently, 84 customers/partners are collocated in the company’s data center, which has a six-degree robust fiber link in each data center. By sharing the data center collocation, multiple technology product and service rendering organizations would be able to become operational in a short amount of time.
