Construction of new 5,000 condominium houses with a budget of 8 billion birr has launched today by Mayor Adanech Abebe and will be completed in a short period of time. Efforts are being made to meet the housing demand of urban dwellers by constructing the houses in a short period of time.
The authority is working to implement a variety of housing financing options and draw on international experience, especially alongside the condominium houses being recently built with mortgage bonds. Engineer Yonas Ayalew, head of the Construction Works Corporation, said the project will be completed within a year.
