An additional 122-billion-birr budget prepared by the Ministry of Finance was submitted to the Council of Ministers
The additional budget is for national security, humanitarian aid, rehabilitation of victims affected by the war and conflict, and the implementation of other important government activities
The need to set up an additional budget is due to the need for additional spending because of the war in the northern part of our country, because it is difficult to recover the current payment request and it is difficult to handle the need for additional spending through budget transfers
It is known that the additional budget request will be used directly as approved by the House of Peoples’ Representatives.
