Adem Mohammed, Ethiopia’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Turkey, met with Professor Kemal YUKSEK, acting Director General of the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority, to discuss ways to strengthen long-standing connections between Ethiopia and Turkey in many areas of collaboration, according to Fana Broadcasting Corporate.

Based on the agreement they signed in 2021, the two sides discussed how to increase collaboration between Ethiopian Airlines and its Turkish counterpart.

Ethiopian Airlines, according to Ambassador Adem, is the continent’s top air transport operator. He went on to say that Ethiopian Airlines is essential in boosting trade and investment between Ethiopia and Turkey.

They also investigated measures to speed up the implementation of the two airlines’ agreement to operate wide-body passenger and cargo planes in Addis Ababa and Istanbul.
