Ethiopia has earned USD 110 million from the export of meat products in the first eleven months of the current fiscal year, according to the Ethiopian Agriculture Authority.
Ayalew Shumet (PhD), Director of Export Abattoirs Inspection and Certification at the Authority, told the Ethiopian Press Agency that the export of 21,000 tons of meat generated USD 110 million in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year.
He also stated that revenue increased significantly, by USD 31 million, when compared to the same period last fiscal year, which was USD 79 million. He continued…
