Ethiopia will host the 11th session of Ethio Poultry Expo (Ethiopex), the 7th session of African Livestock Exhibition and Congress (ALEC), the 3rd session of Aquaculture Ethiopia Expo, and the 2nd session of Apiculture Ethiopia Expo this year. The event is scheduled to take place from October 27–29, 2022. The venue is set at the Ethiopia Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa.
The 2022 edition of the event is expected to welcome 100+ exhibiting companies and 4,000+ attendees from 20+ countries. According to ALEC, the program is attracting global leaders and key local stakeholders including National Pavilions from Bangladesh, Netherlands, and Turkey.
To briefly highlight the four co-located events:
- ALEC is the largest gathering of animal science and trade professionals in the East African region.
- Ethiopex is the biggest collection of East African poultry specialists and trade experts.
- Aquaculture Ethiopia is a platform for promoting and developing the aquaculture sub-sector in Ethiopia
- Apiculture Ethiopia aims to be the premier apiculture sector platform for all concerned stakeholders.
