According to the Ministry of Government Communication Affairs, Ethiopia will give the biennial review report of the CAADP during the 35th AU Summit. Selamawit Kassa, State Minister of the Government Communication Service, said that the 40th ordinary session of the council of ministers will be conducted over two days on February 2 and 3, 2022. She went on to say that the African Union’s heads of state and government will meet this weekend to discuss a variety of issues.
State Minister Selamawit stressed that the biennial evaluation report will be given appropriate consideration as part of the CAADP. The African Union Commission (AUC) and the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) worked closely with partner institutions to review and update the mechanisms they had developed to strengthen Africa’s capacity for knowledge and data generation and management so that evidence-based planning and implementation could be strengthened.
