Sean Jones, the director of USAID’s Ethiopia mission, announced two new investments totaling over 11 billion Birr on Saturday to help over 500,000 individuals in the Amhara regional state. Both investments will directly benefit the PSNP5 coordinated by the Ministry of Finance.

The Amhara Regional Health Bureau also received ten tuberculosis testing devices and medical equipment for four newly constructed maternity blocks in regional health clinics from USAID. “We applaud these healthcare workers for working relentlessly to restore fundamental health services,” USAID remarked.
