The official opening of the Great Ethiopian Homecoming Ceremony took place today at Friendship Park with the presence of H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen, and H.E. Adanech Abiebie, Mayor of Addis Ababa.
It is disclosed that the program put together a series of events to be rolled out in the coming weeks at the heart of Addis Ababa as a welcome treat to the homecoming Ethiopian diasporas.
One of the Exhibition and Bazaar that features quality SME products has opened for visitors from today December 29 to January 6 at Friendship Park with a theme “Buy Ethiopian”. It is said you can get a taste of Ethiopia through handicrafts, traditional clothes, skin products, spices, and creative works. Moreover, agricultural and technological products in different sectors will be displayed at the exhibition. The exhibition is organized by the city administration in collaboration with SNV and Ashengo Events.
