Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (14 Jun 2022)-According to Fana, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stated at the 13th ordinary session of the House of Peoples Representatives that Ethiopia will begin exporting wheat next year.
The Premier also stated that numerous measures are being made to boost agricultural productivity. A mechanical farming technology has been used to cultivate 28 percent of the country’s arable land.
Cluster farming has been implemented on 45 percent of the land. The nation has secured 336 million quintals of agricultural production during the Meher season farming, according to the Prime Minister. In addition, it is projected that about 24 million quintals of crop produce will be collected during the ongoing harvest.
