The Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation announced that it is undertaking 50 construction projects with a contract worth over 40 billion birr this budget year.

Officials from the federal, state, and two city administrations accompanied the corporation on a tour of the Prefabricated Building Construction Center in Akaki Kaliti.

The objective of the visit, according to the ena, is to exchange ongoing expertise in the field of construction input manufacturing and prefabricated building technologies.

Engineer Yonas Ayalew, the Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer, says Imported raw materials for water, housing, transportation, irrigation, and other infrastructures are being produced at the center. In the 2014 Ethiopian budget year, the organization is working on over 50 projects, including irrigation infrastructure, roads, housing, and other infrastructure.
