During the current fiscal year’s first half, Ethiopian Electric Power earned 46 million US dollars from electricity energy exports to Sudan and Djibouti.

According to a report released by the Ministry of Finance, the state-owned electric producer nationwide customers has reached about 4 million in the first six months of the fiscal year.

The country’s electricity coverage rate reached 48 percent.

The corporation earned 8.9 billion birr from service fees.
