Ethiopian Re has announced the appointment of new board leadership, Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson.
Ethiopian Reinsurance S.C. (Ethiopian Re) is the first reinsurance company that established under the provisions of Article 5(8) of the Insurance Business Proclamation No.746/2012. It began operations on July 1, 2016, transacting both life and non-life business.
According to the notice, at the April 13 meeting of the board of directors, it was resolved to appoint Mrs. Meseret Bezabih as Chairperson and Mr. Netsanet Lemessa as V/chairperson of the Board of Directors of Ethiopian-Re, in accordance with the directive of the National Bank of Ethiopia.
Ethio-Re press notice also acknowledged the role of the outgoing Board directors and would like to thank all of them for their commitment to support Ethio-Re during the past three years.
