Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (14 Jun 2022)-The Health Minister Dr. Lia Tadesse and French Ambassador in Ethiopia Rémi Maréchaux have signed the project agreement deal worth 81mln ETB.

According to the Ministry of Health’s Facebook post, the financial assistance will mainly be used to support restoration works in Dessie Referral Hospital.

According to the Ministry’s post, project help would also include medical equipment and construction repairs, Rémi Maréchaux. 

The ambassador also stated, “This is the first support,” and added, “The procurement of medical supplies is now underway, and I will be able to reach the hospital shortly.”

The Health Minister Dr. Lia Tadesse expressed her gratitude to the French government for helping Ethiopia’s efforts to combat the Coronavirus pandemic and other health-related initiatives.
