The Ethiopian Ministry of Trade has decided to increase price of benzene to Birr 31.74, from Birr 25.86, and the price of diesel to Birr 28.94, with around 6-birr increase, starting from December 09, 2021 and will be effective for the coming month. The increase is following the rise in global oil prices and putting into consideration the current situation of Ethiopia. Price of white gas is also adjusted to Birr 28.94, light black diesel to 23.73, heavy black oil to 23.29 and jet fuel to 58.77
