During a meeting held between H.E. Ahmed Shide, Minister of Finance and H. E. Mr. Auer Stephan on 17 December 2021, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany announced a new grant commitment of 80.6 million euros.
The grant from the Government of Germany will be used for productive safety Net program, Food system resilience project, good governance, land use planning agricultural mechanization and drought resilience programs.
