Ethiopia’s Hawassa Polytechnic College (HPTC) and Kenya’s Kisumu National Polytechnic (TKNP) have inked a collaboration agreement to facilitate regional student and staff exchanges in the Textile and Garment priority areas.
The two sides also talked about how to make it easier for staff and students to exchange, build bilaterally agreed-upon programs, and share research. The cooperation agreement was facilitated by the EASTRIP National Project Coordinators from Ethiopia and Kenya.
Mr. Esayas Guta, Dean of Hawassa Polytechnic College, and Ms. Catherine Kelonye, Principal of Kisumu National Polytechnic College, signed the Cooperation Agreement. H.E. Hassan Noor Hassan, Chief Administrative Secretary, Kenyan Ministry of Education, Council Members and PIU Representatives, National Project Coordinators, and HPTC Management were present. Hawassa Industrial Park was also visited by the team.
