The Ethiopian Investment Commission announced the a forum for the one million Ethiopian diasporas to examine investment prospects. The platform will aid investors to see the existing potential in Ethiopia’s priority investment industries – Agriculture, Manufacturing, Mining, Tourism, and ICT.
It is stated that in the last four months, over $1 billion has been invested in Ethiopia, a 23% increase from last year. From a total of 54 foreign investors, 33 will be involved in manufacturing and 21 in the services sector.
