Two Italian firms, Rimorchiatori Riunti Group and GE Car Group have expressed interest in conducting a pre-investment tour in Ethiopia to assess the country’s potential. They have expressed an interest in investing in logistics, transportation, and automobile assembly.

The claim was made during a meeting between the companies’ owners and founders and Ethiopian Ambassador to Italy, Demitu Hambisa. Ambassador Demitu informed the firms about Ethiopia’s burgeoning investment potential.

The Rimorchiatori Riunti Group is a massive shipping and transportation corporation with operations in Malta, Greece, Columbia, and London. The Rimorchiatori Riunti Group has expressed an interest in taking advantage of Ethiopia’s investment opportunities. GE Car Group is also a car assembly company that works with 11 major global automobile brands. The corporation has expressed an interest in working in the automotive assembly sector in Ethiopia.
