The German Embassy in Addis Ababa has announced the upcoming Made in Germany-Africa tradeshow, scheduled to take place from March 2nd to 4th, 2023 at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa. This event provides a platform for key African industries to showcase their products and services, while also enhancing multilateral trade relationships between African countries and Germany.
The Made in Germany-Africa tradeshow will feature exhibitors from various sectors, including machinery and equipment, automotive, agriculture, energy, education, and healthcare. Visitors to the tradeshow will have the opportunity to engage with exhibitors, network with industry professionals, and attend workshops and seminars on trade-related topics. The event is expected to attract over 2,500 visitors, including government officials, business leaders, and investors from Africa and Germany.
According to Statistas Made-In-Country Index (MICI), “Made in Germany” is the most highly regarded quality label for goods and services around the world, outshining other major exporting nations’ trust marks such as “Made in USA” or “Made in UK”. This fair will provide an opportunity for African industries to partner with German businesses and benefit from their reputation for quality and reliability.
