Misganu Arega previously served as State Minister for International Trade, now Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration, and Chief of Staff of Ethiopian Prime Minister. He has now been appointed CEO of Ethio Engineering Group (EEG), according to Capital Newspaper.

Following the company’s restructuring two years ago, the group’s leadership has changed for the second time. The Prime Minister’s Office has appointed Misganu Arega (Amb) to lead EEG, commercial wing of previous Metal and Engineering Corporation (MetEC), which oversees a number of enterprises that make engineering-related items ranging from electric meters to industrial equipment parts.
