Sheger 102.1FM radio aired that the two licensed banks are Ahadu Bank and Sinqe Bank.
Sheger heard the news from the National Bank of Ethiopia.
It is recalled that a directive has been issued since October 2, requiring banks to have a paid-up capital of 5 billion birr.
