Oromia International Bank (OIB) has a new logo and a name that’s slightly changes to “Oromia Bank”.

These rebranding elements are a part of what the Bank’s leadership calls a new brand identity that aims to deliver better banking experiences for its customers and to get on with the bank’s current growth stage.

Oromia bank used its previous name and logo since its established date, 2008.

In 2019/20 fiscal year the bank reported a record-high profit of Birr 1.07 billion (before tax); earning per share stood at Birr 320. The bank serves its customer with over 300 branches, 237 agents and 123 ATMs.

The number of mobile banking users reached 139,976, ATM cardholders were 173,905, and the total income of the Bank surged by 19% to Birr 3.8 billion in the last reporting period.
