Established on September 18, 2008, Oromia International Bank (OIB), announces to change its trade name and trademark.

According to Obbo Teferi Mekonnen, President of the Bank, the change is necessary to keep pace with the current level of growth of the Bank and the current situation. Last month, the bank renovated all its branch layout design and furniture’s.

On 2020/21 annual management performance review meeting, the Board of Directors Chairperson Gemechu Waktola (Dr.) and Bank’s President Obbo Teferi Mekonnen delivered keynote address emphasizing that a well-defined transformation should be in place to put OIB on the position it deserves in the industry. Dr. Gemechu boldly underlined that OIB never deserve less than transformation.
