Agricultural and industrial products worth more than Birr 48 million have been traded in 7 weeks through consumer cooperatives on Sunday markets, according to the Addis Ababa City Administration Cooperative Agency.
The Sunday Market began in five sub-cities to offer agricultural and industrial items through consumer cooperatives and has now been expanded to chosen marketplaces in all 11 sub-cities, according to the agency. The administration will continue to expand market access to lower inflation in all areas of the city.
