Scientists from universities, research facilities, and private companies, as well as smallholder farmers and communities in Burundi, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda, are among the intended targets.
Each initiative will receive a grant of up to one million dollars in the United States over the course of three years. Each project team must include at least three and no more than five organizations from at least three of the BioInnovate Africa participating nations.
Applications must be submitted in English and electronically. The deadline for all idea notes is Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. East African Time.
