CISI is running a project in association with the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE), delivered in support by Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSDA) with training partner Exam Ready. This project aims to support early-stage capital markets development in Ethiopia by training market participants, conducting a foundational training on capital markets.
This scholarship is open to individuals who: work within financial services; or have an IT background; or are faculty members in a university/college who teach courses relevant to financial markets such as Law, Business, Finance, and Economics; or have completed their first degree in a related field and have demonstrated an interest in financial market.
Applicants should demonstrate their interest in financial markets and clearly explain how they will use the achievement of a CISI certificate to enhance their career and contribute to the development of capital markets in Ethiopia. This includes individuals who work in a variety of finance roles from entry level to senior jobs, such as financial analysts, advisers, associates, administrative positions, branch and relationship managers, and risk or compliance managers.
