Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (31 May 2022) – Coca-Cola Beverages Africa Ethiopia has inaugurated its fifth mega-production unit in the Oromia region, Sebeta town. Industry Minister Melaku Alebel and Oromia Regional State Chief Administrator Shimeles Abdissa were in attendance.
The production plant, valued at $100 million, is believed to be capable of producing 100 million bottles of beverage each year. And more than 30,000 Ethiopians have also found work due to Coca-Cola.
The coca cola’s production unit in Sebeta town will produce inputs such as plastic bottles and bottle caps among other input materials. The Coca-Cola Company is also bringing its minute maid drink to the Ethiopian Market as well.
