Over the last three years, the Ethiopian diaspora has contributed about $9 billion, which has been invested in a variety of projects that have created thousands of jobs for Ethiopians, according to Foreign Affairs State Minister Birtukan Ayana.
The remark was given during a webinar hosted by the Ethiopian Diaspora Agency to address the diaspora community’s ongoing public diplomacy initiatives and methods to improve resource mobilization efforts.
