The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) coordinates tour companies and other stakeholders to participate in international tourism and travel trade fairs in an effort to expand Ethiopia’s tourist market share by developing and promoting the nation’s tourism resources on a global scale.
In accordance with this, MoT is making early preparations by reserving 39 square meters of space to exhibit at the WTM LONDON 2022 trade show, which will be placed in England from November 09–13, 2022.
The cost of participating in this trade show is £23,700.00 before VAT for space rental and £27,300 for the construction of the stand, bringing the total cost to £51,000.
The Ministry states that this will be covered by 15 participating organizations, and each participant’s share of the amount will be £4,300.00 pounds in the current bank exchange rate of the day.
All interested organizations that are certain they want to participate and are aware of the required cost must submit an email to info@mot.gov.et by September 2, 2022, (Nehase 27, 2014).
