EPSA said that it had imported pharmaceuticals worth over Birr 1 billion and is now ready for distribution. The drugs are kept in EPSA’s warehouses, according to Nahom Gemechu, the agency’s Medicines and Medical Equipment Purchasing Contract Director.

Life-saving drugs worth Birr 1.78 billion, basic medicines costing Birr 161.5 million, and medical equipment worth Birr 2.42 million are among the items. It has been found that the agency spent about Birr 1.24 billion on the supplies, which are intended to fill the current demand and supply gap in pharmaceuticals.
