On Tuesday, Euro, the 19 European Union’s official currency from the 27 states, fell to its lowest level against the Ethiopian birr since December 17, 2021.
- On Mar 08, 2022, 1 EURO exchanged for 54.9665 ETB.
- On Dec 17, 2021, 1 EURO was exchanged for 54.9175 ETB.
- On Dec 31, 2021, 1 EURO was exchanged for 55.6724 ETB.
- On Mar 01, 2022, 1 EURO was exchanged for 56.9679 ETB.
The Euro continued to fall, reaching its lowest level since December 17, 2021, on March 8.
Based on BIE’s forex dashboard, the sharp declines of the Euro began on February 25, the day after the Russian soldiers poured into the suburbs of Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital city.
At the start of March, one EURO was worth 56.9679 ETB.
On Tuesday, one Euro was purchased for 54.9665 ETB.
