The Ministry of Labor and Skills and David and Lucile Packard Foundation in collaboration with BBC Media Action disseminated the newly developed strategy on “Engaging Young people through media, a social and behavior Change Communication Strategy for the Jobs and skills.
The official strategy will enable young people to be informed, trained and involved in various environmental issues. “We will work together to address the challenges posed by work, education, reproductive health and participation,” said H.E. Nigusu Tilahun.
For his part, Mian Mohamed Juneed, Ethiopia’s Representative to BBC Media Action, praised the Ministry for its work on youth work and the initiative for the study. Participants from various ministries and international organizations said that the study included findings that could be used to change the difficult situation of young people in our country.
