USAID’s $1.3 billion program in Ethiopia would continue to support the Ethiopian people, said on social media. The statement added, the provision of life-saving humanitarian assistance in Afar, Amhara, Tigray, and other areas of the country; the ongoing COVID response and vaccine donations.
USAID also said investments in health and education; and our planning for post-conflict recovery all will continue. The U.S. Embassy is also said it’s open and the American people remain committed to supporting the Ethiopian people during their time of need.
